Vince B.*, a senior at Ohio State, spent $100 on alcohol Sunday after bar-hopping Friday and downing bottles of wine on Saturday.

For the Buckeye faithful looking to point and scream about a double standard, there is news out of Southern California this week about the preferential treatment of yet another athlete for the University of Spoiled Children.
One-and-done USC guard O.J. Mayo allegedly received about $30,000, which included a 42-inch flat-screen TV for his dorm room, hotel rooms, airline tickets for friends and family, meals and thousands of dollars worth of clothing from a "runner" while supposedly being a "student athlete" for the Trojans.

When Lisa McDonald was promoted as the interim head coach of Ball State University's women's basketball team, she filled the vacancy without a trace of selfishness, but rather with the team's interest in mind.
Despite the disappointing blow of being told she would not continue as the program's head coach following former coach Tracy Roller's resignation on April 2, McDonald's team mindset didn't waiver Monday.

With two hours of class a day, we've had tons of time for sight-seeing and getting aclaimated to Florentine culture and life, taking oodles of photos, eating lots of good food and gelato. (PS: It is REALLY hard to go even a few hours without gelato!) As our time in Florence draws to a close, we thought we'd share some photos with you of our experiences thus far. Now that we've become one with this city, can find things without getting lost and have become "regulars" at our favorite restaurants, we'd like to share some of it with you!

Way back during the Freshmen Orientation of 2004, I had the pleasure of hearing Professor Phil Laemmle's famous "Biscuit Speech." Laemmle was a great teacher and great man who made a positive impact in the lives of numerous students. His annual Biscuit Speech, delivered at freshmen orientation, was about how college freshmen are young and stupid, but by listening to folks like him, they could fix it together.
