Almost everyone loves getting in the spirit for Halloween, whether its getting all dressed up to go to a themed party, justifying eating bowls and bowls of candy, or just going to the movies for a few jumps and chills with the latest thriller. Halloween becomes a time unlike any other. It's also when the haunted houses open up.

Scream Park, located in Lexington, is three haunted attractions in one. In the "Castle of Fear," visitors walk among the spirits of knights, jesters, townspeople and a king of the past. While "Insanity" an attraction of chaos and torture takes twists and turns through complete darkness in a maze, showing brave souls all the worst nightmares their minds can dream. Tickets are $15 to get through all three attractions, or $25 to receive a SCREAMpass, which allows, participants to jump right to the front of the line. Scream Park will be open through Oct. 31 from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, and 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
